Hello! I am an American psychologist and educator based in Rotterdam. I have lived in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, and United States for the past 13 years. I am a caring and socially concerned lifelong learner who has always been interested in people and relationships.
I moved to the Netherlands in 2020, and in 2022, inspired by personal experiences during Covid, I started an online Grief Support Group that is still on-going. During this time I came to understand many systemic issues in the field of mental healthcare. I've dedicated the majority of my professional life to keeping people and organizations safe. I adopt an anti-pathology and non-authoritarian approach to care, which means I don't endeavor to provide mental health diagnoses and I hope to foster a collaborative therapeutic bond that emphasizes your autonomy.
I am trained in Narrative Therapy and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), both therapies that focus on life history narratives. Narrative Therapy focuses on how individuals create and tell stories about their lives and helps individuals re-author their stories in order to empower them to challenge limiting narratives by creating new stories that align with their values and goals.

My name is Daria Riazanova. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and am a certified Life Coach and Counsellor. More than titles, what truly defines me is a deep appreciation for life and a heartfelt commitment to walking alongside others on their journey toward healing and self-discovery.
Originally from Ukraine, I’ve lived in three other countries before settling in the Netherlands, where I now live and work—both in person and online with clients worldwide. Living and working across cultures has taught me the value of openness, adaptability, and the importance of being seen and understood as your full self.
I’m also passionate about supporting people through challenges related to identity, relationships, and belonging. Whether you’re navigating mental health struggles, cultural transitions, questions around sexuality or intimacy, or simply seeking deeper alignment with who you are—I’m here for you.

I don’t offer quick fixes or advice—I listen deeply, guide gently, and support you in connecting with your inner wisdom.
